Purpose
At Right Moves for Youth (RMFY), we believe that every student deserves the support, guidance, and opportunity to succeed—no matter their zip code, background, or circumstance. For more than 35 years, we’ve been walking alongside Charlotte’s middle and high school students, helping them reach high school graduation and beyond. Through our unique group mentoring model, RMFY provides a safe space for students to connect, build social-emotional skills, and develop leadership abilities that will carry them through school and life. But our work doesn’t stop there. We expose students to new possibilities through career panels, corporate partnerships, field trips, and events—all designed to broaden their horizons and show them what’s possible. Our Vision A city where all youth have the opportunity to thrive—graduating with a plan for what’s next and the confidence to pursue it. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Right Moves For Youth!
